What is Florida Esports Championship Series?

FECS Mission

" A league built by Florida Educators with multiple options for students to compete in. Our mission is to provide students with the opportunity to engage in competitive esports within a scholastic environment. We strive to create a positive and inclusive space for students to develop their skills and teamwork, while promoting sportsmanship and fair play. Our goal is to foster the growth of esports within the educational system and to provide opportunities for students to connect with their peers and build relationships through shared interests in gaming."

FECS Vision

"Our vision is to create a future where esports is fully integrated and valued as a part of the educational experience, providing students with opportunities to develop important life skills, teamwork, and critical thinking through competitive gaming. We aim to empower students to achieve their full potential in esports and in life, while fostering a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the scholastic esports community."

FECS Values

"Our values include:

  • Inclusivity and diversity, promoting a safe and welcoming environment for all students to participate in esports regardless of their background or skill level.

  • Fair play and sportsmanship, fostering a culture of respect and integrity in competition.

  • Education and personal development, recognizing the potential of esports to teach important life skills and support academic achievement.

  • Collaboration and teamwork, emphasizing the importance of working together to achieve success.

  • Innovation and growth, encouraging the continued development and evolution of the scholastic esports community."

Why join Florida Esports Championship Series?

Always keeping it free to play and free to join.

Esports, or competitive video gaming, should be accessible and free to play for everyone interested in participating. This allows for a diverse and inclusive community, as well as providing equal opportunities for individuals to develop and showcase their skills. Restricting access to esports through paywalls or other barriers can limit the growth and potential of the industry. FECS priorities will always be the students.
